Solar Panel → Battery Charging Calculator

Light Mode

Calculate how long it will take to store energy from the solar panel into the battery — suitable for scooters, storage batteries and DIY projects.

What is C-rate? 0.2C means a charging current equal to 20% of the capacity — i.e. current = 0.2 × Ah. For example: 10 Ah battery × 0.2 = 2 A.
Fill the inputs and click Calculate.
Quick tips: MPPT extracts more energy when panel voltage is higher than battery. For scooter packs (36–52V) prefer MPPT controllers sized for the panel array. This calculator gives theoretical estimates — measure actual charging with monitoring hardware for precise planning.
